Holly Cottage, Milton Abbas 

Holly Cottage is a picture book white thatched semi-detached cottage situated in the beautiful village of Milton Abbas, comprising identical cottages nestling in a wooded valley that slopes gently down to a fishing lake. The village, designed by Capability Brown, was relocated from its original site at nearby Milton Abbey. Each cottage has a broad sloping lawn at the front, which creates the feeling of an extensive village green and is a lovely place to sit with a glass of wine and to watch the world go by.
The Hambro Arms, a stones throw from the cottage, offers a log fire in the winter and good food all year round. There is a village post office opposite the cottage which supplies basic groceries. The local area has much to offer and discover including nearby Milton Abbey and St Catherines Chapel. The coves and beaches of the Dorset coast including Lulworth Cove and Studland are around 30 minutes away. Holly Cottage is available to non-smokers only . We allow well behaved pets at the cottage. Weeks are available from £295 low season to £625 peak including fuel and bedlinen.

The Anchorage, Whitby
Situated in the heart of Whitby on the North Yorkshire Coast, this large Grade II listed house retains all its traditional features and has been furnished and equipped to a high standard. The property offers spacious and comfortable holiday accommodation on three floors and retains many original features.

The house is large by Whitby standards, with a separate lounge, dining room, and kitchen and is situated within a few minutes walk of the harbour, shops and beaches.

Whitby is a fascinating and atmospheric place, steeped in history, with a wonderful beach, harbour and winding lanes to explore, all dominated by Whitby Abbey. The Anchorage is available to non-smokers only and we do not allow pets at the house. Weeks are available from £600 low season to £895 peak including fuel and bedlinen.
